Don't let the small space deceive you!!
I am all for small local coffee shops, and I am so glad I had a minute to try this place out. My friend and I decided to get coffee on a work afternoon, and we saw this place nearby. I always passed by it on my morning commute with a small line, but never made the trek myself to try. It's small but very cute inside-with brick exposure walls and a few seats, with a section to overlook 2nd avenue. Also, there's a shared shaded seating area outside that the shop shares with its neighboring restaurants/stores.
I got an iced latte and noticed that they have a great number of Baked in Brooklyn products-exciting! Unfortunately, I wasn't hungry at the time. Will have to snag something another day. I was very impressed with the espresso-it's not very strong but has great taste. Service is also friendly! Great place near the hospitals -

Always happy with what we get here. Good coffees, friendly staff, and nice selection of pastries from local bakeries.

Great little coffee shop, a hidden gem!The staff is super friendly and always so upbeat and their weekend cappuccino muffins are awesome. good prices too! If you live or work nearby they also have a rewards card.

Always excellent customer service and decrement coffee and pastries. I prefer their drip coffees as opposed to the espresso drinks.

Imagine opening a door to a pretend library loaded with coffee aroma, fresh baked goods and a team of baristas ready to crack out your order....The coffee here packs a punch! I ordered a quad shot vanilla latte and sure tasted the espresso! :) I don't understand why people frequent Starbucks when you have much better establishments like these. Would have given 5 stars if the foam were frothier and my cup wasn't so flimsy but still give props to this business.
